Soustons Surfcamp is located in a healthy and restfull natural area in between a river, a lake and a pine forest.It is also a ten minute drive from Hossegor nightlife and half an hour from the glitz and glamour of Biarritz, the cradle of surf in Europe.

Surrounded by a vast garden with eucalyptus three, various chill-out areas with hammacs for relax, but aswell a training and gym area with massage table, beach-volley playground and ping-pong table, our Surfhouse is ideal for hanging out between and after your surfing session...
Bicycles are at your free disposition to discover the area.

The staff leaded by the fit Najet, will prepare you everyday a huge breackfast and delicious dinner with different kinds of food (oriental, mexican, vegetarian etc...)

The Surfhouse:
Our Surfhouse is a 1914 typical “Marensine” farm restaured in 2007, with a oriental touch and a chilling atmosphere. It has four bedrooms accomodating from 3 till 5 persons, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a big living room with Internet access, a bar and a movie lounge with home cinema system, very large screen and sofas like a dream cinema .

THE SURF


The Spots:

There are waves all year round. Even during the summer when the waves are small, the area around Seignosse is exposed to the swell which makes the surf possible almost every day.
All these spots are beach breaks so it’s safe to walk or hit rocks. All these waves can break in right or left.

They are exposed to the same winds off shore: East, South-East and North-East .

The names are those of beaches.

“Les Casernes” : Can be riden until 2m-2m50 (6-7ft) according to the sand banks . Some long rides , works all tides.

“Le Prevent” : Can be riden until 2m-2m50 (6-7ft), between the jetties ,catches less swell than Seignosse or Hossegor .Hollow and short waves, best at mid-tide .

“La Piste” : Can be riden until 2.5m-3m (7-8ft),.Best at mid tide be careful with the blockhaus .

“Le Penon” : Can be riden until 2m-2m50 (6-7ft) according to the sand banks . Works all tides, some very long rides. The sand banks use to be improving by a small wood jetty.

“La Sud” : Starts at 2m(6ft) on the over spot. Can be riden until 2m (6ft) only at low tide

“Les Bourdaines” : Can be riden until 2m-2m50 (6-7ft) according to the sand banks . Some long rides , works all tide .

“L’Agréou” : Can be riden until 2m-2m50 (6-7ft) according to the sand banks . Some long rides , works all tide

“La Gravière” : Can be riden until 2.5m-3m (7-8ft) .Very hollow waves, tube station with monster barrels rideable in clean condition. Best at mid-tide, just for expert.

“La Nord” : hardcore wave spot ,starts at 2m (6ft)can holds up to 5m (15f).Far from the shore, just for expert..

“Les Estagnot” : Can be riden until 2.5m-3m (7-8ft) sometimes 4m (12ft) .Often some long rides best at low tide.

“Les culs nuls” : can hold up to 2.5m-3m (7-8ft).Use to be hollow, best at mid to low tides. naturist beach...

THE LOCATION

Soustons:
Soustons is divided into two areas. The Town of Soustons, some 7 kms inland from the coast, but located on the southerly end of a large Lake, the "Etang de Soustons" with an overall area of 700 hectares . The town with its two lakes is very popular with sailing enthusiasts.
The other area is Soustons Plage on the large natural sea fed, salt water lake (with its own beaches & Island) known as the "Lac Marin de Port d'Albret", with an overall area of 51 hectares

Seignosse:
The Village of Seignosse is typical of the old Landes coastal villages, picturesque, quaint and with the village church, the mairie, a few bars, 2 hotels and small lanes with scattered typical Landes colombage farmhouse architecture.
Seignosse Plage is a vast area of apartments with the centre at Penon Plage, where you will find Bars, Restaurants, a cinema, a disco and the brand new Water Park. The coast line has immense beaches (deep & long) & enormous sand dunes, enough space for all.

Hossegor:
Nestling against an emerald forest, caressed by the ocean, lined with endless fine sandy beaches and the 250 hectare salt-water lake, Hossegor reflects the image of an old traditional welcome.
Hossegor is situated in the heart of an international tourist center, where nature rhymes with culture all year round, a place which lives on the rhythm of events, Classical Music festival, Harley Davidson motor bike festival, Golf competitions, World surfing championship competition, European kite festival, the Motocross Enduro on the beach and the Hossegor Pelote Basque Open, plus a summer season in full swing where music of all types drifts across the evening air.

The atmosphere in the Pubs, Piano bars, Cafes, Restaurants and Disco's are as in the rest of the South of France, very friendly. The sports and leisure facilities will suit all your wishes, Sporting-Casino, Swimming pool, Tennis clubs, Shopping, Marinas and 18 hole golf courses to name but a few.
