Gran Canaria Surfcamp offers a surf progamme fit for the necesities of all surfers, from the complete beginner to the initiate who wants to improve his technique and level of surfing. Surf and Bodyboard tuition is offered everyday of the year at Playa de La Cicer, one of the best beach in the the achipielago for the practice of surf.

THE CAMP

General information

The apartments are situated 20 meters from the beach, right next to the breaks of La Cicer.

We have sea view apartments, totally equipped ( Kitchen, Tv, DVD).

All this in the excellent environment of Las Canteras Beach. Gran Canaria Surfcamp offers different programs of surfing adjusted to the necessity of those who are just starting and those who want to improve there technique and level of surfing. We offer lessons of surf and body board every day from 10:30 to 16:30 hrs.

The trainers of the team of Gran Canaria Surfcamp are titled from La Federacion Española de Surf.

SURFARIS

The surfaris are for those surfers with experience. The apartments, the daily sessions with the guide, the surf boards and the wetsuits are provided by the camp. Transportation is made with the van of the camp to different breaks depending on the meteorological conditions and swells.

ACCOMMODATION ONLY

The apartments situated next to La Cicer and Las Canteras Beach (Cicer) is one of the best spots of the Canary archipelago for the practice of surf. All the apartments have views of the waves and equipped with kitchen, TV & DVD.

Change of sheets and linen once a week

SURF SCHOOL

All the facilities and installations are on the beach. The school is totally equipped and the instructors are titled from the FES with different languages - Spanish, English & French.

Known as the ”Fortunate Islands”, the Canary Islands enjoy a permanent spring like, subtropical climate cooled by the Ocean breeze and the Trade Winds, with warm waters and consistent swell most of the year. Gran Canaria is the most populated island of the archipelago’s 7 islands. A continent in miniature, the variety of the landscape range from the desert like south to the green and fertile banana hillside plantations of the north, from the pine groves and black volcanic peaks of the centre to huge sand beaches and high cliffs plunging into the ocean. The capital, Las Plamas de Gran Canaria, is an important port on the Atlantic trade routes and has a thriving cultural life - it is reputed for its carnival !
