SEVILLA skydive school & accommodation

The Skydive Centre is located close to Seville and offer an initiation course in Accelerated Freefall (AFF). This is a course geared for complete beginners who wish to learn to skydive in a few days of instruction. No previous experience is needed and all aspects of skydiving are covered. The AFF Skydive School will allow you to become a solo skydiver in as little time as a week. The Skydive Centre has extensive facilities, including a large aircraft hangar used for training and a bar/restaurant serving typical Spanish and British food, where you will be watching the day’s skydiving videos over a cold beer! Next to the bar is the swimming pool, ideal for a dip at the end of the day to cool off from the hot Spanish summer. Accommodation is available at a nearby hotel or at the Skydive House.

The Skydive Centre is British owned and British run. It is also a BPA Associated Dropzone. The school is run by Barry, one of the Safety and Training Advisors for the United State Parachute Association (USPA).

EL SKYDIVE

AAF Accelerated Freefall
El sistema AFF es un método de aprendizaje intensivo para aprender a saltar y ser un Skydiver cualificado en una semana y 8 niveles (cada nivel corresponde a un salto de Skydive). El centro ofrece un sistema de enseñanza personalizado con un alumno por profesor y cada alumno recibe su material de salto personal para toda la duración del curso. Los cursos en tierra dan todos los detalles para tu primer saldo desde 15,000 pies en una serie de clases detalladas en las aulas de la escuela, con apoyo informático y practicas en la nave. Después de cada salto, una nueva clase analiza los resultados obtenidos y enseña nueva técnicas para el próximo salto. Los primeros saltos se efectúan en tándem con el instructor y después con el instructor saltando junto el alumno, conectado con el por radio para darle instrucciones.

THE LOCATION

Seville
A visit to Seville is a must when attending the AFF Skydive Camp, which will leave you plenty of free time to hang out and do some sightseeing. Sevilla has an impressive range of historic landmarks, most of them dating back to the times when Spain was ruling the New World and Sevilla was the capital of Spain. These include the Giralda Cathedral, the Archivo de Indias and the Reales Alcazares, all listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Worth discovering as well are the quaint cobbled street of the old Santa Cruz district with their typical bars and the riverside docks, where ships used to unload their goods from the colonies and now a pleasant pedestrian and touristic area with river cruises.

Climate
Mediterranean, with mild winters and hot, dry summers. Perfect skydiving year round conditions thanks to the light winds and hardly any cloud cover.
