The Maldives is divided into 3 parts. The northern Atolls, the center atolls, and the southern atolls. The Northern Atolls is where most famous surfspots are ( Lohis, Jails, Chickens, etc). This is also where the capital city and the international airport is. 90 % of the boats charter around these northern Atolls. (North and south Male Atoll)
Boat trips start on mondays or tuesdays any other day on request. It surfs all around the Male Atolls

THE BOAT

Anba max. capacity is 22 guest. 9 twin cabins with own bathroom and 1luxury suite with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and privat sun/shadow-deck.

Lower deck:
7staterooms (13-16 sqm / 140-172 sq ft) each stateroom and bathroom has a port hole approx. 30x50 cm (12 in x 20 in), in addition to the port hole each stateroom has an additional ceiling window with a view to the walk way. All stateroom windows can be opened. 1 Laundry room with washer and dryer. Well equipped maintenance room and part storage.

(1580 gal) fresh water capacity per day, 1 Panda generator 10 KW 230/380 Vac 50 Hz, 1 lambardini generator 22 KW 230/380 Vac, 50 Hz, 1 air conditioning unit, 380 ltr. (100 gal) hot water tank solar powered, fresh water tanks, 5000 Ltr. (1,325 gal) Diesel tanks.

Main deck:
Main salon with TV, Stereo, DVD, telephone, board games, gift shop, library, battery charging station (24 h. 220 Vac Power), bar, covered deck (60 sqm / 645 sq ft), coffee shop, modern Nirosta-kitchen ( 20 sqm / 215 sq ft), storerooms, captain and crew areas.

Between-deck:
2 staterooms
1 two bedroom suite (25 sqm, 270 sq ft) with a private sundeck 20 sqm (215 sq ft).
Covered area (60 sqm / 645 sq ft) with bar and dinning area.

Upper deck:
The upper deck (50 sqm / 540 sq ft) ) is equipped with lounge chairs, table and chairs to enjoy the sun!
 
Problem with sea sickness ??? We have the solution for you !!!
To prevent a rolling (Swings) of the ship at rough sea, we have build a stabilizer system directly in the hull. 15 tons of additional weight is added at the deepest point of the ship and  distributed over the whole length, will provide you a smoother ride at rough sea.
In addition the Amba is accompanied with:
1 Diving-Dhoni: The diving-equipment always stays on the diving-dhoni.
 
1 Speed-Boat: lenght  6m (19 ft), beam  2,2 m (7ft), engine Yamaha 115 HP. The speed-boat guarantees a fast transportation from the islands to our Amba. In addition we offer you the fun of water skiing, wakeboarding or speed-boat driving ...

THE SURF


There are more then twelve surf points scattered across Male’ atoll which is best accessed by a boat. Maldives offers unspoiled beaches and clear waters for surfing. The best months are from March to mid November (tail end of the north east monsoon through to the end of the south west monsoon) . The captain knows where all the good surf spots are. All you have to do is tell him which one you want to surf and he’ll take you.

Most famous spots in the Male Atolls:
- Chickens. Very long left.
- Cokes. Powerful short right. Breaks off the island where Coca cola is produced.
- Lohis. Great long left that handles size. Infront of our Resort. Check:
- Pasta Point. Private Wave for the people in that resort. Not fair! Although the wave doesnt look that good anyways! The clients all get out and surf other waves.
- Sultans. Very long right.
- Jails: Nice long right hander infront of the jail.
Etc , etc. etc, etc.

MEEMU, LAAMU, or HUVADHOO ATOLLS:
NO CROWDS!!! Awsome waves! Huvadhoo picks up most swell and all year long!

THE PACKAGES

Per day and person incl. full board (breakfast, lunch, coffee or tea, dinner), Male Irport transfers on Mondays or tuesdays, and surfing. Surfguide is not included.
For the luxury suite the price per day is 199.00 Euro more, max. 4 persons.

Min. 8 guest, maximum 22 guests.
From 11 persons there is a 10 % discount per person.

Anba max. capacity is 22 guest. 9 twin cabins with own bathroom and 1 luxury suite with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and privat sun/shadow-deck. For the luxury suite (max. 4 persons) you have to pay an extra charge 199.00 per night.
We drive in north-and southmale atoll, other atolls are possible, but you have to pay an extra charge.
Not including are drinks.
By booking you have to pay advance 40%. The rest you have to pay 6 weeks before safari start. All the payments you have to transfer to our bank account which is written on the invoice including any bank charges.

Our cancelation-fees:
From booking-day to 60.day before safari start 20 %.
From 59.day to 42.
day before safari start30 %.
From 41. day to 31. day before safari start 40 %.
From 30. day to 22. day before safari start 50 %.
From 21. day before safari start 75%.
From the day the safari start or if you cancel the safari 100%.

THE LOCATION



The Maldives
Southern Asia, group of atolls in the Indian Ocean, south-southwest of India. An Islamic republic, the Maldives stretch 500 mi (800 km) from north to south in the North Indian Ocean, SW of Sri Lanka. They consist of about 25 atolls made up of some 1200 coral islands, of which 200 are inhabited. No more than a couple of metres above sea level, these tiny atolls are covered by lush tropical vegetation, mailnly coconut trees, and surrounded by shallow lagoons encircled by protective coral reefs, where the swell breaks. Loads of Atolls and reefs, pristine crystal clear water, white sandy beaches and great surfing.

Climate
Tropical, with fine weather throughout the year except for the monsoon periods: Northeast Monsoon (November to March) and Southwest Monsoon (June to August)

Male Airport (MLE)

Male airport is an island just dedicated to the airport.
Scheduled & charter flights: Qatar Airways, Martin Air, Condo, Eurofly, Lufthansa, LTU, Singapore airlines, Sri Lanka Airlines, Air Swiss, Air France, British Airways.

If you then want to go to Huvadhoo Atolls on the south of the Maldives then you can also fly there instead of taking the 3 day boat with us.

Visitors are issued a 30 day tourist visa upon arrival, regardless of their nationality
